Hyundai Motor Group and POSCO Future M signed a letter of intent on Nov. 3 to evaluate a 100 billion won equity investment in a synthetic graphite anode plant in Vietnam.

The proposed investment represents about $74.6 million for the facility under construction in Thai Nguyen Province, where POSCO Future M is spending 357 billion won ($260 million) to establish its first overseas battery materials hub.
